Health and Safety
To aid in maintaining a clean and healthy environment we require you to sanitize your hands before entering and upon exiting the cate lounge. We recommend wearing long pants and closed-toe shoes during your visit. Please note: While we have air purifying systems in place, we do not advise entering if you have allergies to cats.
Lounge Rules
- Do not touch the cat’s food or water!
- There is absolutely no climbing on the furniture in the cat lounge room.
- No screaming. Use inside voices within the cat lounge.
- No running please.
- Please no pushing, poking, slapping, hitting, or mistreatment of any of the cats.
Violators of these lounge rules will be asked to leave immediately without refund.

Important information
- Cats can bite and scratch. We are not liable for any bite, scratch or breakage of human skin and or any injury to human beings. Please use common sense around our cats and follow the Cat Lounge Rules, as they are animals and have animal instincts to protect themselves
- You are welcome to leave coats and larger bags next to the cat lounge entry area.
- Leave your cat (and all pets) at home. They are not allowed in the cat lounge or café.
- We do not and cannot guarantee that any cat(s) will still be available for adoption at the time of your visit or be at the café.
- Respect the cat’s space: If a cat walks away or seems uninterested in interaction, respect its space and do not force attention on it.
- Report Concerns: if you notice anything that concerns you about a cat’s well-being, or behavior, report it to the staff immediately.
- Follow staff instructions: Always follow any additional instructions or guidelines provided by the café staff and volunteers. They are there to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both the cats and visitors.
- Anyone not adhering to the rules of the cat lounge will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.
- By adhering to these rules, visitors can help ensure a pleasant experience and a safe environment for everyone involved.
Cool Cat Lounge Terms
- Always check in at the café counter before entering the lounge.
- When entering and leaving the cat lounge, make sure the first door is closed before opening the second door so the cats do not escape.
- Use hand sanitizer before and upon leaving the cat lounge.
- We respectfully ask that you do not wake our sleeping cats. (Soft pets are acceptable if the cat is sleeping)
- We respectfully ask that you do not pick up the cats. (Unless the attempt to get out of the lounge door, in that case you can only help them safely get back into the cat lounge)
- Cats are allowed to sit on your lap with your consent.
- Please do not use your fingers or toes to play with the cats, pull on, push or chase a cat.
- We respectfully ask that you do not feed the cats any outside treats, or human foods. (Treats are provided via a dispenser for $0.25 within the lounge.
